No better way to end our summer, 13 plus pop-up shops all over the east coast only to close it out with a bang in our hometown! Huge thank you to everyone who made it out to our one year event this past Saturday. I also have to send a huge thank you to Ky and everyone at Abakus Takeout, Nitty Scott, MC, Julius Myth, and Philly’s own Chyf and Paris Artelli. I’ll let the photos and videos below do the talking. More photos on the way! Also we have a few of the one year tee’s left. If you want to get your hands on them head over to our online shop now!

This is easily one of my favorite songs ever.

SEVEN DAYS

Saturday, August 20th, 2011

I know it’s been kinda slow around these parts as far as updates go. I’m not even going to promise that I will eventually update this thing daily, we can’t all be Bobby Hundreds. Now with that said I’d like to introduce Seven Days. Seven Days is something that we are going to start posting weekly, look out for it on Saturdays or Sundays. Basically, it is a collection of seven songs that guided us through the week. It takes roughly 2 minutes to download, drag the tracks into your Itunes, hit play, and enjoy.

Burritos, Boards & Bros: Full Contest Details

Tuesday, August 9th, 2011

If you don’t like burritos, skateboarding, or having friends please exit off this page now.

Get your crew of homies together. Could be 3 or it could be 20. That’s up to you. Film and edit a skate clip that’s 2-5 minutes long. Be creative with the edit, be diverse with the skating and spots. Submit your clip on a mini DV tape, on a DVD or post it on YouTube or Vimeo with a password protected link so no one else see’s the edit til the afterparty. Split the cost of a $50 Bethlehem Skateplaza Benefit Brick between you and your crew. The skateplaza needs all our support and this is one way you can do that without breaking the bank.

Your crew will have until AUGUST 15th to turn in your edit and show that you bought a skateplaza benefit brick. On AUGUST 19th Hello Burrito on Northside Bethlehem will be hosting a video screening party for all the crews who entered. Everyone is welcome to come out, eat burritos, see a great show with some local bands and then watch all the submitted videos.

You and your homies will vote on your favorite clip so make sure you bring all the homies out. The clip that gets the most votes will win the Stereo prize package. A panel of judges from Homebase, Hello Burrito and the Virginville Film Festival will also vote on the with the best artistic direction and we will pay for that team’s benefit brick.

Lots of other prizes and chances to support the Bethlehem Skateplaza will be happening throughout the night at Hello Burrito so make sure you’re there.

The Beat Goes On 2

Monday, July 11th, 2011

This past Saturday we spent the day in Clifton, NJ at another one of our pop-up shop events. I’ve always considered Black Flag as kind of a home away from home type of spot and this past Saturday solidified that. I owe huge thanks to Omar and Leslie of Black Flag, Nitty Scott MC, Giuliano JulesJulius Myth, Erick Arc Elliott, Josh Craig, DJ’S Mr.Notorious, ASharp, & Host Phace Izdaname.

Omar of Black Flag. What’s an All Mighty event without the cops rolling by?

I’ve been a fan of this dude for a while now so I was stoked to have Erick Arc Elliott hold down Black Flag for us. Be sure and check out his latest project, Almost Remembered.

When someone is dialed in they are unstoppable. For anyone who had the chance to see Julius on Saturday, I think we can all agree that this dude was as dialed in as someone can be. Be sure to follow all things Julius Myth.

The first time I heard Nitty Scott was when I downloaded this. I played that track a hundred times give or take. To see Nitty Scott perform it live was incredible. From the moment she picked the mic up till the moment she dropped it at the end of her set all eyes stayed glued on her. Be sure to follow, listen and support Nitty Scott, MC.
